Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

February 28th to March 1st 2010

Based on the highly successful presentation of coresystems’ CEO, Manuel Grenacher, at the SAP Influencer Summit in Boston in December 2009, coresystems got invited to co-present with SAP at the SAP Partner Summit in Las Vegas. The slot was focused on the Co-Innovation projects that the development of SAP Business One had initiated with coresystems in conjunction with their release of SAP Business One 8.8.

coresystems USA was founded towards the end of 2009 and the official launch of the office in New York City was scheduled for the end of the first quarter of 2010. It was an absolute thrill that before coresystems at all was actually present in North America, they already received their first invitation to present at one of the most important North American partner events. This slot at the Summit in Vegas was the first public appearance of coresystems USA and it was a very exciting moment for the entire coresystems team.

The session at the Partner Summit was held together with the VP of SAP development from the SAP headquarters in Walldorf, Germany and  the General Manager of coresystems USA, Arti Sahgal.

Besides an introduction to the entire idea of Co-Innovation from side of SAP, the focus of the slot was to demonstrate the new face of SAP Business One 8.8. – reaching its peek with the gadgets, widgets and mash-ups provided by coresystems.

Many of the present VARs and SSPs who were unfamiliar with the solutions of coresystems or who had just briefly heard of coresuite as a very strong solution in Europe, were curious and visited the session. It was a thrilling moment: The audience was all excited and was awaiting the face of the next generation of Business One with coresystems in high expectations. The room was overfilled and spectators had to stand in the back to be able to catch a glimpse of the show. Embedded real-time analytics, Web 2.0 integration – collaborative interactive tools to optimize business processes, mobile integration, service maps – we had it all.

First the sales work space was introduced, illustrating integrated dashboards, easy set-up of an eCommerce store in 7 clicks seamlessly linked to SAP Business One, social network integration, mobile App and much more – the partners loved it!
In the second part of the demo, the service management desk based on Google maps was demonstrated. The audience was fascinated by the idea of having an interactive map linked to the mobile app to ideally manage field staff. Also the easy of creating activities and recording efforts on service calls via the mobile app was welcomed with applause.

All in all, the warm welcome of coresystems USA was overwhelming! The SAP Partner Summit 2010 in Las Vegas, was a  huge success for coresystems and their positioning in the North American market.
